Alto-Shaam promoted Ryan Norman to the newly created role of director of consultant services.

Farmer Boys appointed Dave Wetzel to serve as senior vice president of operations for the fast-casual restaurant chain. In this role, Wetzel becomes responsible for overseeing both company and franchise restaurant operations.

Hoshizaki America hired Chris Karssiens to serve as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Karssiens comes to Hoshizaki from The Middleby Corp., where he served as group vice president of Crown Steam Group.

Shaun Tanner will assume the role of president and chief executive officer for Winston Industries, effective July 1, 2020. He will replace Valerie Shelton, who will retire in December 2020.

Smart Care Equipment Solutions’ run of acquisitions continues with the purchase of Turbo Technicians, a Texas-based service agent specializing the repair and maintenance of speed ovens.

Anita Adams was promoted from president to chief executive officer of Black Bear Diner. The family dining chain also hired Jeff Guido to serve as chief operating officer. Adams assumes the CEO role from Bruce Dean, Black Bear’s co-founder and CEO. Dean will now serve as executive chairman for the 25-year-old restaurant chain.

In a move aimed to spark growth, The Dinex Group tapped Sebastien Silvestri to serve as its first-ever chief executive officer. The Dinex Group will charge Silverstri with defining the next era for the multiconcept operator, including expanding its portfolio via acquisition, per a company release.

Heidi Hinkel was appointed director of foodservice sales for iSi North America, which manufactures cream and soda chargers to power whippers and soda siphons.

In hiring its new national accounts manager, Globe Food Equipment Company chose an individual with a diverse foodservice industry background. Ben Lee’s background includes working with several foodservice equipment manufacturers, a dealer and a design firm.

Tim Swanson was named president of Bettcher Industries, an Ohio-based foodservice equipment manufacturer. Swanson will also become a member of the Bettcher board of directors.

Stephanie Gilbert was appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Food Service Holdings (FSH), a Colorado-based organization that manufactures food shields and front-of-the-house servery, counters and custom fabricated solutions. FSH consists of BSIEnglish Manufacturing and Colorado Custom Stone.

Boelter, a Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer, tapped Manny Alvarez to serve as director of national contract sales.

TriMark USA, a Mansfield, Mass.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer, named Marie Ffolkes to the role of CEO, effective Jan. 29. She will succeed Jerry Hyman, who will become chairman of the company and remain on the board of directors.

Jeff Lehmann was hired to serve as a regional sales manager for Nor-Lake, a manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment.

BK Resources and Robot Coupe updated their rep networks, while rep firm Prima Marketing added to its team.

Jonathan Schroeder was named director of national accounts for Alto-Shaam, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of foodservice equipment.

Henny Penny promoted Steve Maggard to president of the Eaton, Ohio-based foodservice equipment manufacturer. In addition, Ryan Kutter was promoted from vice president of Global Customer Experience to senior vice president.

Scott Murphy was promoted to president of Dunkin’ Americas. He previously served as chief operating officer for Dunkin’ U.S. Murphy assumes the role from Dave Hoffmann, who continues to serve as Dunkin’ Brands CEO.
