Polar King, an Indiana-based manufacturer, has formed a mobile business unit that provides 8 to 16-foot long refrigerated trailers.

These units are designed for outdoor and over-the-road use, per a company release. Target customers include small businesses in the foodservice industry and beverage resellers, among others.

Doing business as Polar King Mobile, the division will not sell direct to the public, but instead create a national network of value-added resellers by recruiting trailer distributors from the North American Trailer Dealers Association, per a company release. “A national network with dealers in every state will provide the underpinning for fast, professional and knowledgeable customer service,” says Christian Aitken, executive vice president for Polar King Mobile.
