Healthy lifestyle-focused Coolgreens promoted Todd Madlener from vice president of operations to president and chief operating officer.

Lancer Corporation promoted Jason Marrero to vice president of its Coca-Cola Enterprise. Marrero has 20 years experience in the beverage dispensing industry, including 10 with Lancer. He most recently served as senior director of Coca-Cola North America.

Reitano Design Group, an Indianapolis-based foodservice design firm, added two people to its team.

Vulcan and the ITW Food Equipment Group promoted Chris Stern to vice president and general manager of cooking, North America, effective February 10, 2020. He replaces Mihyar Mohamed, who will transition to a leadership role in ITW’s Construction Products Segment.

First Watch turned to a former PepsiCo executive to fill the restaurant chain’s newly created post of chief transformation officer. In his new role, Greg Barber becomes leading strategy development and will partner with First Watch’s key functional leaders on the development and implementation of corporate initiatives.

CEC Entertainment chose someone with experience in the family entertainment, media and theme park industries to fill its CEO role. David McKillips was appointed CEO for the multiconcept operator whose portfolio includes the Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurant chains.

KCL has plans to expand its business outside of the Americas. Luca Salomoni will now represent KCL and its product lines in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. KCL provides an array of software products that aid in the foodservice design process, including consolidating equipment symbol libraries and specifications in one location.

Phoenix-based hospitality group Upward Projects added two industry veterans to its C-suite. Anoop Mathew will serve as chief financial officer and Brent Renner was named chief development officer.

SEFA appointed Rachael Weaver chief operating officer and Stephen Mills to the newly created officer of vice president of finance for the dealer-based foodservice equipment and supplies buying group.

The Ali Group updated the organizational structure for Eloma USA, one of its operating companies. The role of president for Eloma USA has been eliminated and the company created the position of vice president of sales.

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association promoted Michael Schwartz senior vice president of member value. In his new role, Schwartz will serve as the senior executive leading the product and marketing side of the business, working with IFMA members and its board of directors to create new products and manage the association’s current portfolio.

In addition to the Oneida line, Oneida Hospitality Group consists of a collection of other foodservice lines including UpDate International, Tomlinson Industries, Focus Foodservice, Johnson Rose and Co-Rect.

DDI System tapped David Greene to serve as a market specialist for the software company that develops ERP and e-commerce software and services for the foodservice industry. In his new role, Greene will lead communication and strategic direction for the company working with dealers, distributors and trade associations.

Sales of foodservice equipment and supplies grew by 1.8 percent in the third quarter of 2019, according to the latest Business Barometer from the Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry. This was 1.1 percent less than the sales growth reps forecast for the quarter but up 2.7 percent from the second quarter of 2019.

In a move aimed to inspire growth and support existing field personnel, Matt Bridgeman joined Clark Service Group as the company’s first corporate trainer.

Frontline International promoted Zack Palazzo to director of sales. Palazzo previously served as the company’s sales manager, a position he began in 2015.

The Middleby Corporation added an automated option to its restaurant equipment portfolio thanks to the acquisition of RAM Fry Dispensers from Automated Equipment LLC. RAM produces automated frozen French fry dispensing equipment.

Sebastian Heil will become Southwest sales manager and corporate chef for Irinox, effective January 20, 2020.
