Commercial cooking equipment manufacturer UNOX has acquired Italian manufacturer Roboqbo Srl. The deal will allow UNOX to integrate “advanced robotic and process-automation technologies” into its portfolio of multifunction ovens, per a release.

Sales of foodservice equipment and supplies increased 2.1% in the third quarter of 2025, per data from Business Barometer published by the Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry. This represents a 0.5% increase from the second quarter’s sales growth. Reps project sales will increase 1.7% for the fourth quarter of 2025 and 4.3% for 2026.

Upon completion of the transaction, Denny’s will become a privately held company.

Electrolux Professional Group has reached a deal to acquire the assets of commercial cooking equipment manufacturer Royal Range. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026; however, the purchase price was not disclosed.
Adam Noyes was promoted to president of Potbelly. He previously served as the sandwich chain’s chief operating officer, has been appointed president of Potbelly, effective immediately. Bob Wright will remain with the company as CEO through the end of the year.

Bob Don, 89 years old, died on October 20, 2025. Before his retirement, Bob Don was the second generation of the Don family to lead Edward Don & Company.
