KPS Global to get new Owners

Private-equity firm D Cubed Group has reached an agreement to sell KPS Global to Viessmann Generations Group. KPS Global is a Texas-based manufacturer of walk-in refrigerators and freezers, among other products. The deal is expected to close within 90 days and financial terms were not disclosed, per a release announcing the transaction.

KPS Global will continue to be led by its existing management team and operate through its headquarters and an innovation center in Fort Worth, Texas. The company will continue to produce products from its five manufacturing facilities.

D Cubed created KPS Global in 2015 through the simultaneous acquisitions of Hill Phoenix’s Walk-Ins business from Dover Corporation and Kysor Panel Systems from The Manitowoc Company. Today, KPS Global generates more than $400 million in annual revenue, per the release.

Viessmann has a diverse portfolio of businesses that span a variety of industries. Through its Clean & Cold platform, Viessmann is a supplier of clean and cold room solutions.
