Horizon Equipment promoted Ryan Smith to president of the Eagan, Minn.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. Smith has been with the company for more than 13 years, most recently serving as a vice president.

Prior to joining Horizon, Smith served as a regional manager for Whole Foods.

Tracy Smith, Horizon’s previous president, remains with the dealership serving as its chief executive officer.

Horizon reported annual revenues of $29.38 million in 2023, making it the 66th largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the country, per FE&S 2024 Distribution Giants study.
