Multiconcept operator Inspire Brands tapped Daniel Sasso to serve as director of equipment innovation and automation, a part of the Inspire Equipment Innovation Team.

Apparently, multiconcept operator FAT Brands has a sweet tooth as the company has struck a deal to acquire the 85 franchised chain of stores known as Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip from Crest Foods. As part of the deal, FAT Brands will rebrand the locations as Great American Cookies, which is one of its portfolio brands.

BradyIFS has acquired Camden Bag and Paper Company, a distributor of foodservice and janitorial and sanitation products serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
