Private-equity firm Source Capital has acquired Kitchen Brains, a designer and manufacturer of fully integrated smart cooking computers, electronic controls and software solutions for commercial foodservice operations. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Christian Koether will remain as CEO of Kitchen Brains.

Kitchen Brains product lines include (FAST.), Modularm and QPM. The company’s products are suitable for use across a variety of foodservice operator segments including quick-service restaurants, casual and fine dining restaurants, convenience and grocery stores, schools, hospitals, stadiums and other facilities.
