Bettcher Industries tapped Kurt Miller to serve as vice president of operations.

In the latest of a series of moves reshaping its leadership team, TriMark USA appointed company veteran Rodney Bridgers to fill the role of senior vice president, vendor programs.

Oneida Hospitality Group named Scott McDaniel CEO. McDaniel comes to OHG from TriMark USA, where he has served as president of the foodservice equipment and supplies dealer’s TriMark United East Division since November 2018.

Parts Town named Martin Rohde as president of its international business. In his leadership role with Parts Town International Rohde will have full responsibility for the company’s operations outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Alan Green, a longtime member of the foodservice industry passed away on Jan. 22, 2021. He was 81 years old.

Chicken Salad Chick will relocate its corporate headquarters to Atlanta from Auburn, Ala. The chain anticipates it will complete the move during the first quarter of 2021.

William “Bill” Wolfe Jr. has retired from his position as executive vice president with Hotel & Restaurant Supply. Wolfe spent more than four decades with the Mississippi-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.

Foodservice equipment manufacturer Unified Brands added Ajay Kothari and Brent Barkley to its team and promoted Clay Thames.

Motion Technology Inc. promoted Kathy Smith to president for the manufacturer of AutoFry and ventless foodservice equipment technology.

Ignite Foodservice Solutions, a Denver- based independent manufacturers’ rep firm has acquired Pro-Pacific, a rep firm serving the Pacific Northwestern U.S. As a result of the deal, Pro-Pacific will go to market as Ignite Pro-Pacific.

Marlowe Parker was promoted to general manager of Deutsche Beverage Technologies, which is part of the Middleby Beverage Group. The Charlotte, N.C.-based company designs and manufactures brewery and other sanitary process equipment.

The National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) named their 2021 board officers and directors. Brian Casey, president of Oak Hill Tavern and the Company Picnic Company, will serve as chair of the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors, and Susan Adzick, president of McLane Foodservice, will serve as chair of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.

Overall restaurant industry sales will total $548.3 billion in 2021, per projections from the National Restaurant Association in its 2021 State of the Restaurant Industry report. This is $240 billion less than the $899 billion the NRA projected heading into 2020 – before the pandemic. While the NRA’s projections for 2021 represent a $50.7 billion (10.2%) increase compared to 2020, industry sales this year will remain down significantly from 2019’s total of $615.9 billion.

Members of the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers elected three members to its board of directors. In addition, the NAFEM renamed its prestigious President’s Award for former president and long-time volunteer Louise O’Sullivan, CFSP.

Restaurant industry veteran Thomas Sacco was appointed president of Dynamic Restaurant Holdings’ two chains: Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream Parlors and Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Kitchen.

Justin Lyles assumed the role of marketing manager for Innovative Foodservice Group, a Florida-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.

As part of Singer Equipment Company’s reorganization of its contract division, the Eleverson, Pa.-based dealer has promoted three company veterans. As part of this transition, Rod White will become executive vice president, contracts, and Mark Woolcock will serve as executive vice president. These promotions take effect April 1, 2021.

Multiconcept operator Yum! Brands promoted Tracy Skeans to chief operating officer. Skeans, who has been with the company for 20 years, served as chief transformation and people officer since 2016.

Perlick announced two personnel moves. After 42 years with Perlick, Jim Koelbl retired from his post as vice president of sales in January. Perlick hired Chris Baichoo to fill the newly created chief sales officer role.
