Singer Equipment Company Reorganizes Contract Leadership Team

As part of Singer Equipment Company’s reorganization of its contract division, the Eleverson, Pa.-based dealer has promoted three company veterans. As part of this transition, Rod White will become executive vice president, contracts, and Mark Woolcock will serve as executive vice president. These promotions take effect April 1, 2021.

In his new role, White will oversee all contract sales, CAD, project management, estimating, and purchasing. White founded Ashland Equipment in 2000 and joined the company when Singer acquired Ashland in 2017. As a result of White’s new role, Todd Schaeffer will be promoted to general manager and vice president of Singer Ashland. He previously served as vice president of Singer Ashland.

As a result of his promotion, Woolcock will manage all equipment vendor relationships for Singer, supporting equipment sales across both contract and distribution divisions. His responsibilities will also include vendor program development and strategic partnerships. Woolcock joined Singer 15 years ago.

In 2019, Singer Equipment Co. reported annual sales of $446 million, making it the fifth largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer, per FE&S’ 2020 Distribution Giants Study
