Dick Eisenbarth is the new CEO of foodservice consulting firm Cini•Little International Inc. He replaces Diane Dowling, who resigned after serving as the firm’s CEO/CFO. Dowling spent 30 years with the Cini•Little. Eisenbarth will also retain his role as president.

LTI added Helix Solutions Group to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps.

In a cash deal valued at $105 million, Standex International Corp. has reached an agreement to sell its Cooking Solutions Group (CSG) to The Middleby Corporation. The closing of this acquisition remains subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals.

Tuxton China Inc. hired Pamela Perkins to serve as Western regional sales manager.

Diversified Foodservice Supply (DFS) named Keith Kelly vice president and general manager of its Tundra Restaurant Supply division. He replaces Cara Schlarb, who became vice president, merchandising and product development for DFS.

Irinox North America, a manufacturer of blast chillers and shock freezers for the commercial foodservice industry, added Robert Bratton to its sales organization. Bratton will serve as corporate chef and regional sales manager for Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada.

In his new role, Cavanagh will lead the internal Nyco sales team as well as the majority of the company’s network of national manufacturers’ representatives.

Lemonade Restaurant Group and Modern Market Eatery will merge to form Modern Restaurant Concepts, a self-described better-for-you restaurant platform. Both Lemonade and Modern Market Eatery are part of a portfolio of companies owned by Butterfly, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm.

Jeff Carcara was named president of Bonefish Grill, a casual-dining chain owned by multiconcept operator Bloomin’ Brands. He most recently served as the CEO of Del Frisco’s Emerging Brands.

The North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers elected two individuals and re-elected three other people to serve on the organization’s board of directors.

Michael Stasko was appointed president and CEO of BEST Restaurant Equipment and Design, a Columbus, Ohio-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. Stasko succeeds Jim Hanson, who becomes executive chairman of the board.

The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association named the nine foodservice operators that are the recipients of its 2019 Silver Plate Awards.

As part of its effort to build a national network of service technicians, Smart Care Equipment Solutions has acquired Mid-South Maintenance, a provider of commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance services to the commercial foodservice industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

For the second consecutive year, Chick-Fil-A and In-N-Out Burger earned the top spots in Sandelman’s Awards of Excellence. These awards recognize excellence among quick-service restaurants.

Selim Bassoul has retired from his role as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Middleby Corp. Company veteran Timothy FitzGerald was named CEO and a member of Middleby’s board of directors. David Brewer was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer for the manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment. And Gordon O’Brien, who has served as lead independent director of the Middleby board of directors since 2010, assumed the role of chairman of the board.

Professional Reps, an independent manufacturers’ rep firm, promoted several longtime associates and made several new hires for its Midwest and Rocky Mountain territories.

Golf management company Troon has acquired RealFood, a Cambridge, Mass.-based foodservice design and hospitality advisory services firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The National Restaurant Association and its Educational Foundation announced their new slates of board officers and directors. Joe Essa, president and CEO of Wolfgang Puck Worldwide Inc., will serve as chair of the National Restaurant Association, and Geoff Hill, managing director of Roark Capital Group, will serve as chair of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
