NSF International presented Joe Corby with its Food Safety Leadership Award, which recognizes individuals and organizations for real and lasting improvements in food safety. Corby is senior advisor to the Association of Food & Drug Officials.

Mitch Summerfield was named president of Oliver Packaging & Equipment Company, a Michigan-based manufacturer of foodservice equipment.

AutoQuotes appointed Eric Stallworth to serve as an account executive for the technology company that provides catalog, quotation and design applications for the foodservice equipment and supplies industry.

Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group promoted Jeremy James to director of engineering from his previous role of engineering manager.

Edward Don & Company has bought Myers Restaurant Supply, a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Quikserv Corp., a Texas-based manufacturer of transaction windows, drawer systems, and window security solutions, has acquired Canadian company Easi-Serv Products.

Alto-Shaam appointed Chris Lustberg to serve as vice president of sales – Northeast region for the Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Panera Bread introduced Niren Chaudhary as president and CEO of the fast-casual restaurant chain. He succeeds Blaine Hurst, who will retire from his current role as CEO of Panera effective May 23, 2019. Hurst will remain on Panera’s board of directors and become vice chairman.

Excell Foodservice Equipment Dealer Network, a dealer-based equipment and supplies buying group recognized its vendor partners with a series of annual awards.

Foodservice industry veteran Wayne Froehlich was hired to fill the newly created position of general manager of Automatic Bar Controls, a division of Middleby. In his role Froehlich will oversee the Automatic Bar Control beverage brands of Wunder-Bar, JoeTap, Starline, and Bloomfield.
