Jamba Juice named Geoff Henry president and promoted Jaime Denney to vice president of operations.

In the latest step in its acquisition strategy, Innovative Foodservice Group (IFG) purchased JES Restaurant Equipment, a Greenwood, S.C.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Nor-Lake hired Dan Muldowney to serve as national account manager for the manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment.

Foodservice Equipment & Supplies will present five foodservice professionals with its 2019 Top Achiever Awards. These awards recognize excellence among foodservice consultants, equipment and supplies dealers, manufacturers’ reps, operators and service agents.

The Oneida Group sold the majority of its foodservice business, which includes flatware, dinnerware and barware, to Crown Brands. The transaction was final as of Jan. 28, 2019. Terms were not disclosed.

Groupe SEB has reached an agreement to acquire Wilbur Curtis, a manufacturer of coffee equipment for the foodservice industry. The deal, which is subject to customary regulatory clearances, is expected to close in February 2019, per a release announcing the transaction.

Jason Grace has joined Globe Food Equipment Company, as a western regional sales manager for the Dayton, Ohio-based foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Former Yard House Restaurants executive Craig Carlyle has joined STACKED: Food Well Built as the first chief operating officer for the casual-dining chain. Carlyle joined STACKED to lead the chain’s expansion efforts, per a release announcing his hiring.

Foodservice equipment industry veteran Chris Karssiens joined The Middleby Corp. in the newly created position of group vice president, Crown Steam Companies.

Yum! Brands promoted David Gibbs to president and chief operating officer. Gibbs, a 29-year veteran of the company, has served as president and chief financial officer for the last two years. 

Kevin Armantrout was named CEO for Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant, a New Orleans-based beach and surf bar concept owned by Kirkendoll Management.

Shari’s Restaurants introduced Stan Frankenthaler as the company’s executive chef and senior vice president of supply chain for 92-unit family dining chain.

Brent Berkowitz was promoted to chief operating officer for Sage Restaurant Group, a Denver-based multiconcept operator. 

Multiconcept operator Restaurant Brands International made a trio of executive promotions.

Nyco Products Company added three companies to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps.
