Upen Malani was hired to serve as executive director of dining services at the University of Richmond.

Chain Operator Updates

BJ's Restaurants tapped Lyle Tick to serve as its president and chief concept officer, effective September 9, 2024. Black Bear Diner hired Art Kilmer to serve as chief operations officer. Checkers Drive-In Restaurants hired Chris Tebben to serve as president and chief executive officer. FAT Brands adds to its development team with the hiring of Ammy Harrison and Maiyo Hood. Paris Baguette tapped Norm Ginsberg to serve as its vice president of operations.

Curate hits the road with a mobile equipment lab and PB&J adds to its culinary capabilities. Hoshizaki America and Zurn Elkay Water Solutions update their sales networks. And Forbes Hever & Wallace announces a variety of updates.
