As part of a newly created position, Channel Manufacturing has expanded the role of company veteran John Ebenroth, who now assumes responsibility for the day to day operation for the manufacturer of food storage materials and equipment.

Polar King International appointed Rachel Giese to serve as a customer service agent for the Indiana-based manufacturer of walk-in coolers, freezers and refrigerated trailers.

CFS Brands has acquired AyrKing, a manufacturer of food preparation equipment and related accessories.

As part of a partnership between the two Middleby-owned equipment lines, Globe Food Equipment Co. will handle the sales, marketing and distribution of Varimixer products in the U.S. This goes into effect Jan. 1, 2021.

The Middleby Corporation has purchased Zhuhai Guangdong China-based United Foodservice Equipment Group. The company designs and manufactures countertop commercial foodservice equipment under the Thor brand name. United had annual revenues of approximately $10 million, per a release announcing the deal.

John Ulrich was appointed vice president of national accounts for Alto-Shaam, a Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Thanks to a global licensing partnership between the two companies, Welbilt will manufacture and distribute Apex Supply Chain Technologies’ line of food order pickup lockers. Apex’s Flow-Thru 10,000 will go to market under Welbilt’s Merco line of foodservice equipment.

Alto-Shaam promoted two company veterans to newly created regional sales positions.

Markus Glueck will become group president, global cooking for ITW Food Equipment Group, effective Jan. 1, 2021. Earlier this month Glueck left RATIONAL USA, where he served as area vice president of North America for the combi oven manufacturer.
