In a move that expands its reach across New York State, Singer Equipment Co. has acquired the business of foodservice equipment and supplies dealer Joseph Flihan Company.
Headquartered in Utica, N.Y., Joseph Flihan Company has served the New York State market for more than 50 years. The new division will operate under the name Singer Flihan. Joe Flihan will serve as president of Singer Flihan. He previously served as president of Joseph Flihan Company.
As a result of this deal, Singer Equipment Co. now has offices in the New York cities of Buffalo, Syracuse, Utica, New York City and Melville, Long Island.
This marks Singer Equipment Company’s second acquisition in roughly one year. Last April, Singer Equipment Co. acquired Hotel & Restaurant Supply, a Mississippi-based dealer.
With annual revenues of $865.4 million in 2024, Singer Equipment Co. was the fourth largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the country, per FE&S 2025 Distribution Giants study.
