Singer Equipment Co. promoted Eric Santagato to president of its distribution business, Santagato previously served as vice president of distribution sales for the Pennsylvania-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer.
Santagato joined Singer in April 2016 as a district sales manager in the New Jersey market. In his previous role, he unified the distribution sales organizations of the company’s M. Tucker and Singer organizations, per a company release. Fred Singer and Mark Woolcock will continue to oversee Singer’s contract business, the release added.
Singer Equipment Co. reported annual revenue of more than $699 million in 2022, making it the country’s fourth largest foodservice equipment and supplies dealer, per FE&S 2023 Distribution Giants study. Also, in 2023, Singer was the recipient of FE&S Dealer of the Year Award.
