Kitchen United Executive is in the Dog Haus

Michael Montagano will assume the newly created role of CEO for Dog Haus, starting in September. He comes to Dog Haus from ghost kitchen operator Kitchen United, where Montaagano also served as CEO since 2020.

Michael MontaganoMichael MontaganoMontagano spent the past three years as a member of Dog Haus’ board of directors and Kitchen United has been a “commercial partner” with Dog Haus since 2018. Montagano’s experience with a ghost kitchen company is notable given that Dog Haus’ suite of virtual concepts, which it refers to as The Absolute Brands, rive an incremental 20% of system-wide sales for the company, per a release. In fact, the company says off-premises sales account for nearly half of its revenues. Dog Haus’ virtual brands include Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos and Bad Mutha Clucka.

The company has been led since its 2010 inception by founding partners and longtime friends Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and André Vener. Montagano will report to the three partners, who will continue in their respective roles.
