4-Star Reps and Ignite added to their teams, while BSE North adds to its line card and Limelight opens another test kitchen in Wisconsin. Plus, the Mirk Group opens in the Chicago suburbs.
4 Star Reps added Fisher Manufacturing and LTI to its line card. In addition, 4 Star expanded its inside sales team with the hiring of Gina Bryce. 4 Star operates in MAFSI Region 4, which includes Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware.
Alto-Shaam tapped BSE North to serve as its manufacturers’ representative in MAFSI Region 2, which covers upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. New York-based BSE has represented Alto-Shaam for decades. And earlier this year, BSE formed the BSE North Division.
Chef Robert Simmelink joined Ignite Foodservice Solutions as the rep firm’s director of culinary services. He will work from Ignite’s office in Phoenix but will work throughout the firm’s entire territory. He previously served as a senior executive chef for Alto-Shaam. Earlier this year, Ignite acquired Pro-Pacific, a rep firm serving the Pacific Northwest.
Limelight Foodservice & Hospitality partnered with combi oven manufacturer RATIONAL to open a test kitchen in Madison, Wis. The two companies had previously teamed up to open a test kitchen in Milwaukee.
A new rep group has set up shop in Rolling Meadows, Ill. Mirk Group team members include Nick Mirkovich, Cheryl Hodges and Jackie Gomolski. The firm’s line card includes Cambro.
