Avant Sales and Marketing expands its line card, while Channel Manufacturing, Equipex and Winholt update their rep networks. And Kelly-Mincks adds a business development manager.

Ohio-based rep firm Avant Sales and Marketing added the following air purification products to its line card: Sterionizer, BAF Clean Air Systems and Austin Air Systems. Earlier this year, Image Hospitality changed its name to Avant Sales and Marketing.

Channel Manufacturing added Carolina Foodservice Solutions to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. Carolina Foodservice Solutions will rep Channel Manufacturing in North Carolina and South Carolina, also known as MAFSI Region 11.

Equipex added BSE North and Gabriel Group to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. BSE North will represent Equipex in upstate New York, while Gabriel Group will represent Equipex in the western Pennsylvania area. Equipex manufactures countertop cooking equipment, induction cookers/warmers, warming displays and countertop ventless hood systems. In April, BSE Marketing launched BSE North, the New York-based firm’s third division.

Kelly-Mincks tapped Jamie Smith to serve as business development manager with added emphasis on foodservice consultants serving K-12 schools. Smith brings more than 18 years of foodservice industry experience to her new role, having most recently worked with oven manufacturer Wood Stone. Kelly-Mincks’ territory includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii.

Winholt added Specialty Equipment Sales Company, better known as SESCO, to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. SESCO now represents Winholt in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, also known as MAFSI Region 6 and MAFSI Region 7. SESCO’s headquarters is in Independence, Ohio, and the company has multiple offices and warehouse facilities.
