A Versatile & Sustainable Steaming Solution

AccuTemp Products Inc. has created EvolutionTM Steamers, an equipment line that allows foodservice operators to circumvent these connections.
“We created a connectionless market for steamers in the industry,” says John Pennington, vice president and corporate chef at AccuTemp. “Because the Evolution Steamer is offered in both connected and connectionless models, the Evolution Steamer can replace any steamers on the market.”
AccuTemp’s Evolution Steamer also doubles as a holding cabinet with temperature control and features easy to operate digital controls. It provides fast operation, with cook times comparable to boiler-based steamers.
Not only does the Evolution Steamer cook faster, it is hard waterproof.
“This means no water filtration or treatment is required,” Pennington says. “And it can handle hard water, so there is no water quality exclusion in the warranty.”
The electric Evolution Steamer is EPA 202 qualified, which means no ventilation hood is needed. Its patented Steam Vector Technology creates forced convection without using fans, motors, pumps or any other moving parts to lower operating and maintenance costs while reducing water usage.
“Unlike other steamers that use as much as 40 gallons of water an hour, the Evolution Steamer utilizes less than a gallon of water per hour,” Pennington says.
The Energy Star®-Qualified steamer is offered in natural gas, propane or electric versions in a six-pan or three-pan capacity and can be double-stacked to hold up to 12 pans.
