As part of its Cans 4 Quotes initiative, 4 Star Reps has donated more than 2,200 cans of food during the first half of 2025. For every quote request 4 Star Reps receives, one can of food is donated. If a quote includes Hobart, Vulcan, or Traulsen equipment, ITW matches the donation, per a release. In the second quarter of 2025 alone, the program resulted in the donation of 1,448 canned goods to Valley Youth House, a nonprofit supporting youth and families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
The relationship between The Fischer Group and manufacturers Epicurean and Victorinox has expanded. The California-based rep group now represents both factories in Hawaii.
California-based reps Preferred Marketing Group has rebranded itself, now going to market as Preferred Foodservice Specialists. While the company’s leadership, structure, and territory coverage remain unchanged, all brand assets — including the website, line card, email addresses, and social media handles — have been updated to reflect the new identity. “This is more than just a new name or logo — it’s the next chapter in our story,” said Brad Hitchcock, president of PFS. “Our updated brand identity reflects who we are today and where we’re headed — a focused, expert-driven team that remains passionately committed to our partners’ success.”
Commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer Sammic added Sun Marketing Agents to its rep network. As a result, SMA now represents Sammic in Florida, also known as MAFSI region 13.
