Chicago-based CES Family of Companies (CES), a portfolio company of Cooper Management, LLC, has acquired Windrock Enterprises Inc, a foodservice, equipment and supplies dealer based in Knoxville, Tenn.
The transaction, which closed on Dec. 2, 2024, is a continuation of CES’ efforts to expand its foodservice industry offerings by combining Windrock with current CES brand United Fast Food and Beverage. Windrock’s experience in remodel and design complements CES’ current offerings of install, service, and planned maintenance.
Windrock founder David Gallaher as well as all of the company’s employees are expected to remain with the company.
Through the acquisition, CES grows its network of foodservice-related dealers, bolstering the brand’s C-store offerings, while expanding its footprint south to the state of Tennessee.
CES has hired Michael Roenna to serve as vice president of C-store division. Roenna has a background in the convenience store industry having served as division president at Core Mark.
This represents the second deal CES has completed this month. Earlier in December, the CES acquired Ohio-based Dubick Fixture and Supply.
