Preferred Source and 4 Star Reps grow their organizations, while Culinary Equipment Group adds to its team. Also, CMA and Mirk Group add to their line cards.

Philadelphia-based 4 Star Reps has acquired the assets of RC Hospitality, which was founded in 2012 by Robin Carmeans. RC Hospitality specialized in tabletop, buffet displays, smallwares, food safety solutions, chef apparel and textiles. As a result of this transaction, 4 Star Reps has created a hospitality division and Carmeans will serve as its director.

Culinary Equipment Group, an Addison, Illinois-based rep firm, hired Matt Strait to serve as a business development/culinary support specialist.

Illinois-based rep firm Mirk Group added Waring to its line card. Mirk now represents Waring in MAFSI Region 17, which includes the Chicago metropolitan area, Northern Indiana and portions of Wisconsin.

LTI, a manufacturer and designer of modular and custom serving systems, added CMA Foodservice Solutions to its rep network. CMA now represents LTI in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.

Dallas based-rep firm Preferred Source has acquired BWA Reps, which is based in Ft. Worth, Texas. Former BWA principals Brad Waller and Mark King will join Preferred Source as executive vice president – sales and executive vice president – hospitality. In addition to Waller and King, all BWA employees will transition to Preferred Source, per a release announcing the deal.
