Longtime service agent Bruce Peeling passed away on July 25, 2024. He was 73 years old.

For years Peeling served as general manager of EMR, a Baltimore, Md.-based service company. In that role, he was involved with the Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA). He regularly lent his expertise as a source for articles in FE&S. For example, Peeling shared some ideas on how regular equipment maintenance could save energy and offered his perspective on the importance of pairing equipment sales and service. And in 2002, Peeling received FE&S’ Top Achiever – Service Agent award.

Peeling was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Wahman, four grandchildren and many other family members.

Visitation will take place July 31, 2024, at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel in Sykesville, Md. A funeral service will take place on August 1 at the same location.
