Commercial cooking equipment manufacturer RATIONAL USA promoted Joseph Gomez to sales director for its central region.

Gomez joined RATIONAL in February 2017 as a regional sales manager.

Gomez will replace the late Jayme Schneider, who passed away earlier this year. To honor Schneider’s memory and impact on the industry, RATIONAL will establish the Jayme Schneider Legacy Award, which will go to a RATIONAL employee who “exemplifies a significant and lasting influence.” The company will name the first recipient of this award in 2025.
