Rep Roundup for April 2, 2024

Limelight Foodservice & Hospitality and Specialized Wisconsin become partners, while Pecinka Ferri adds some culinary experience to its team. Thermo-Kool adds to its rep network while Wallin Foodservice bolsters its line card.

Midwest rep firms Limelight Foodservice & Hospitality and Specialized Wisconsin have formed a Strategic Alliance in Wisconsin. Michelle Perrone, principal owner of Limelight and Walter Kirchhoff, president of Specialized will oversee the two companies. Each group will continue to operate under their respective names while combining their teams and line cards. This will allow the groups to provide expanded product offerings and additional resources to their customers, per an email announcing the new venture. The companies are redesigning their Wisconsin office, which will feature new equipment in the test kitchen and a new furniture and supplies showroom. Limelight Foodservice & Hospitality will remain an independent rep firm in the Chicago area market.

New Jersey-based rep firm Pecinka Ferri Associates hired Domenick Torlucci to serve as an outside sales professional. His background includes extensive culinary experience working in a variety of high-profile establishments across multiple markets. For example, Torlucci’s resume includes stints at Atlantico & Mini and Jaleo, both of which are part of the portfolio of renowned chef Jose Andres. He also spent time working at Las Vegas at China Poblano in the Cosmopolitan hotel and as a banquet chef and sous chef for a Marriott International hotel.

Thermo-Kool added DRC Marketing Group to its rep network. Based in Herbon, Ohio, DRC will represent the manufacturer of walk-in refrigeration, blast chillers and shock freezers in Kentucky, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Wallin Foodservice Resources added to its line card Quantum Foodservice, a manufacturer of storage and shelving systems. Wallin Foodservice Resources now represents Quantum Foodservice in Louisiana, Western Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, also known as MAFSI region 14.
