CFS buys G.E.T. and Winco Parent Company

Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer CFS Brands has added to its portfolio by acquiring The Foodware Group, which manufactures and sells front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house supplies and smallwares. Founded in 2018, The Foodware Group consists of two more widely known foodservice brands: G.E.T. and Winco.

The integration process will be gradual, per a release announcing the deal. CFS will take time “to develop a deep understanding of the businesses, brands, and teams, and the companies’ respective strengths and opportunities.” G.E.T. and Winco will each continue to operate as stand-alone entities within CFS Brands. Customers and suppliers will continue to interact with CFS Brands, G.E.T, and Winco as they have in the past.

Other lines owned by CFS Brands include Carlisle FoodService Products, San Jamar and Dinex, among others. In addition, earlier this year, Winco acquired Bar Maid.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
