Capping a career that will span four decades with the company, Steve Maggard will retire from his role as president of Henny Penny in May 2024. Henny Penny expects to announce Maggard’s successor this spring, per a company release.
Maggard assumed the role of Henny Penny president in 2020. He was the sixth company president in Henny Penny’s 66-year existence.
Maggard joined Henny Penny in 1978 as a manufacturing assembler. Since then, his responsibilities have grown extensively. He held a variety of roles within marketing, training, sales and operations. In 2017, he served as executive vice president and then“Under his leadership, Henny Penny has made significant changes to our strategy while never losing sight of our employee-owners and culture.
