Rep Roundup for March 2023

Empire Equipment Co. makes another acquisition. Dormont, Flexeserve and Multiteria add to their rep networks, while Preferred Marketing Group bolsters its sales force.

Empire Equipment Co., a Raleigh, N.C.-based manufacturers’ rep firm and equipment distributor has acquired Foxx Equipment Co. Foxx has locations in Kansas City, Mo., and Denver. As a result of the acquisition, Empire now has 11 distribution centers throughout the U.S. Foxx Equipment Co. is a wholesale distributor of specialty beverage dispensing equipment and aftermarket parts in the foodservice, hospitality, beverage, and retail industries. The company was founded in 1956.

Flexeserve, a hot-holding manufacturer, added Permul to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. Permul will represent and distribute Flexeserve products in Canada.

Michigan-based rep firm Gabriel Group LLC added Dormont to its line card. Gabriel Group now represents Dormont in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

California-based reps Preferred Marketing Group added two sales reps to its team. Bryce Roczey now works in the rep firm’s Orange County, Calif., territory and Jim Miller in its Las Vegas territory. 

Multiteria has extended the territory that rep firm Redco covers in representing the Wisconsin-based manufacturer. Redco now represents Multiteria across three territories, including MAFSI Region 17, which covers Chicago Metro, Northern Indiana, and Eastern Wisconsin; MAFSI Region 18, covering Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, and, MAFSI Region 19, which covers Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin. Earlier this year, Multiteria added Market First and Pecinka Ferri to its rep network.
