Operator Updates for Roy Rogers, IHOP and Fiesta

Roy Rogers Restaurants tapped Adam Klaers as an executive vice president for the western-themed quick-service restaurant chain based in Frederick, Md.

In his new role, Klaers “will concentrate on optimizing the performance of the existing company and franchise locations, while also positioning the brand to grow in new markets,” per a company release.

Additionally, Arthur Carl II was appointed vice president of culinary for family dining chain IHOP. In this new role, Carl assumes responsibility for driving the evolution of the IHOP menu.

Finally, Richard Stockinger has stepped down from his post as CEO of Fiesta Restaurant Group to “pursue other interests,” per a company release. Dirk Montgomery, chief financial officer for the company since 2019, will serve as interim CEO for Fiesta Restaurant Group.
