The Zink Corporation, the parent company of independent manufacturer’s rep firm Zink Foodservice Group, has Wenger Temperature Control, a Columbus, Ohio-based refrigeration, ventilation and HVAC contractor and service company.
Wenger Temperature Control will continue to operate independently, although natural synergies exist with Zink & Wenger Temp having done business together for decades. Zink already had its own ventilation business.
Founded in 1977, Wenger Temp has a fleet of more than 30 service trucks and technicians. “We have built this company on the principle that if you treat your customers with integrity, give them a fair price, and offer qualified professional technicians, then you will have customers for life,” stated Joe Wenger, president. He added, “We were looking for a company that could help us carry forward that mission and someone that shared our core values. We found that in Zink. I am especially excited to have our team join Zink’s ESOP, become shareholders, and participate in the company’s collective future.”
