Gabriel Group merges with a group from Acosta Cornerstone. Alto-Shaam, Premier Metal & Glass and LTI add to their rep networks, while Greenwald Sales & Marketing adds a business development manager.

Gabriel Group LLC, a Michigan-based independent manufacturers’ rep firm, has merged with a division of Acosta Cornerstone. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., Gabriel Group represents various manufacturers in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Members of the Acosta Cornerstone team from Indiana and Michigan joining Gabriel Group include Heather Archer, Jeremy Christopher, Jack Farling, Matt Howard, Megan Marco, John McCurdy and Paul Seneff. These foodservice professionals previously with Acosta Cornerstone will now go to market under the Gabriel Group umbrella. The groups’ inside support functions have been integrated, too.

“It’s very much a team approach at Gabriel Group and it’s a very collaborative environment,” McCurdy says. “They have relationships we don’t have, and we have relationships they don’t have. So, we complement one another very well.

Alto-Shaam tapped BSE Mid-Atlantic to serve as Wisconsin-based manufacturers’ representative in MAFSI Region 5, which includes Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.S. BSE also represents Alto-Shaam in MAFSI Regions 2, 3 and 4. (The association’s website offers a more detailed look at the MAFSI Regions.)

Greenwald Sales & Marketing hired Kate Pennington to serve as business development manager for the rep firm’s central Ohio territory.

Premier Metal & Glass added two companies to its network of independent manufacturers' reps. Florida Agents now represents PMG in the Sunshine State. And Pro Reps West now represents PMG in Southern California.

LTI added the following firms to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps: 4 Star Reps, J. Wilson Marketing and W.D. Colledge Co. These groups will cover various regions across North America: 4 Star Reps in certain areas of Delaware, southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania; J. Wilson Marketing in Upstate New York and W.D. Colledge in Canada. The addition of W.D. Colledge represents LTI’s introduction to the Canadian market.
