Rep Round Up for July 2020

Culinary Express Group, Wyllie Marketing and Zink Foodservice add to their line cards. MarkeTeam adds to its personnel roster. And the Wallin Group prepares to go to market under a new name.

Carpigiani, an Ali Group Company, added three distributors to its network: Coolers Inc., in the greater Houston metro area; Refrigeration Mechanics, located in Northern Ohio and Red Rock Food Equipment in Oklahoma. These new distributors not only add local sales support for Carpigiani customers but also local service and parts distribution.

DoughXPress added Culinary Equipment Group to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. CEG now represents DoughXPress in the Chicago market. CEG also serves Northern/Central Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

MarkeTeam Foodservice hired Brian Figler to serve as an outside sales territory manager for the Washington-based rep group. Over the course of his 20-year career Figler’s background includes experience in education, leadership, and research and development roles.

The Wallin Group, an independent manufacturers’ rep firm serving Louisiana, Western Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, will now go to market under the name Wallin Foodservice Resources. “This new name honors the company’s heritage while reinforcing its commitment to serving the rapidly changing foodservice industry,” the company said in a statement announcing the name change. Wallin Foodservice Resources invites readers to visit their new website wallinfsr.com and subscribe to their blog for new product updates and ideas.

Wyllie Marketing, a Weymouth, Mass.-based rep firm, now represents Star, Wells, Lang, Toastmaster, APW/Wyott, Bakers Pride and Holman for the six New England states. All seven brands are owned by Middleby. In addition, Wyllie Marketing Cassie Emond to serve in a sales support role. She replaces Paula Marchbanks, who retired in March after 17 years with the company.

Zink Foodservice now represents Nyco Products in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Based in Countryside, Ill., Nyco Products manufactures cleaning chemicals. The Ohio-based rep firm also added Chowbotics to its line card, representing the company in Illinois, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania.
