The key to getting the perfect replacement door is the order form. First, enter the door opening width and height; floor height; and wall thickness. Next, any appropriate details about the door – whether it’s a cooler or freezer, flush or overlapping door, any viewport windows and kickplate size and material. Finally, select the correct frame option, such as an exterior-facing frame door or an L-shaped door with a back jamb frame.
These replacement doors are manufactured with the same smooth gelcoat finished exterior, rigid polyisocyanate core foam and fiberglass interior as Polar King’s standard walk-in doors.
Door thicknesses range between 4” and 6”. Face and back jamb frames come in 6” widths for greater rough opening coverage and component mounting. The doors are manufactured from 1” thick PVC foam rail and preassembled to the door plug for quick installation at the jobsite.
Once the Polar King replacement door arrives at the jobsite, it can be installed quickly and easily. It requires just a few steps: sealing, leveling and securing the frame and door assembly to the opening. The hardware you need is already provided. For heated doors, a junction box will be mounted at the top of the exterior door face for quick wiring by your electrician.
Polar King replacement doors will be offered in all standard industry widths, heights and thicknesses. Additionally, doors of custom width, height and thickness can also be produced.
