Q: Tell us about the Middleby Innovation Kitchens.

James Pool: The Middleby Innovation Kitchens, or the MIK as we call it, is a 40,000-square foot facility with all of the latest Middleby innovation in one place. The facility has 15 live vignettes and more than 150 pieces of Middleby equipment. Our chef team, led by certified Master Chef Russell Scott, is there to demonstrate Middleby technology in our many vignettes which include Baking, Ventless, Pizza, Automation, Beverage and others. Guests can also use our Ad Hoc kitchen with their kitchen or Ghost Kitchen layouts to test and optimize their operational efficiencies.

Q: What can customers expect upon their visit to the MIK?

JP: Prior to arriving, visitors will have had a discussion with our sales or chef team about their needs and requirements and what they are hoping to achieve during their visit. If needed, arrangements can be made to send food product or supplies. And, with enough notice and planning, we can set up the Ad Hoc kitchen to a customer’s specification. We want to exceed the expectations of our guests, but we also want them to take away at least five things they did not know about Middleby that may make them more successful, such as our in-house beer and coffee brewing, ventless capabilities, extensive pizza prep and cook offerings, Open Kitchen IoT platform, and automation in the kitchen.

Q: Do you have group events?

Veterns love the MIK experience Jennifer Stone and Charles Gonzalez leading a training and tasting of Middleby Coffee Solutions. Treating the Rep partners to a tasting of coffees from around the world brewed from Concordia.

JP: Yes, the Middleby Innovation Kitchen was designed to host large events. With BlueZone by Middleby air purification throughout the facility and ample space for distancing, we can create an event that fits the needs and comfort level of any group. We offer a state-of-the-art training room, a 70-person dining room, a conference room and exclusive 14-person dining experience at The Elements dining table. We work with you to tailor the event to your specific needs from training to dining.

Q: Where are you located?

JP: We have an easily accessible location minutes from DFW Airport in Lewisville, Texas, right off the highway. You’ll see our sign from Highway 121. The address is 2701 East State Highway 121 in Lewisville.

Q: How do we visit?
