Chain Restaurant Updates

Multi-brand restaurant franchisor Craveworthy Brands acquired Fresh Brothers Pizza. Plus, two chains prepare for leadership transitions as Nick Scarpino will replace Yorgo Koutsogiorgas as CEO of Giordano’s on December 9, 2024 and Carrie Walsh will become interim CEO for Subway upon John Chidsey’s retirement at the end of 2024.

Factory Updates

Hoshizaki America promoted Sean Evans to sales director for its South-Central Region. John Boos & Co. made six new hires, including the appointment of Damon Childers who now serves as president and CEO. Audrey Casey Pearson has returned to LTI as brand ambassador. Nemco Food Equipment added Adam Rosenkranz to its sales team. UNOX North America tapped Derek Richardson to serve as its president and CEO.

Les Dames d’Escoffier International Updates Leadership

Les Dames d’Escoffier International named Stephanie Jaeger president and Kate Howell as third vice president for the international board of directors.

PRIDE Centric Resources Names CEO

As part of a planned leadership transition, Greg Ebel will become chief executive officer for PRIDE Centric Resources, effective January 6, 2025.

A pair of Ohio-based dealers inked the year’s first acquisition deal when The Wasserstrom Co. bought Breckenridge Kitchen Equipment & Design. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. TriMark Opens Pittsburgh Showroom
