Omaha, Neb.-based Hockenbergs Food Service Equipment and Supply Co. has acquired Global KES, a Lee's Summit, Mo.-based dealership.
Global KES was previously owned by John Wells and was an offshoot of his Sub Technologies company, which supplied smallwares and some equipment items to Subway franchisees.
With 2010 revenues of $81.7 million, Hockenbergs placed 14th in FE&S' 2011 Distribution Giants Study, which ranks the top foodservice equipment and supplies dealers by sales volume.
