The Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association has released some of the details surrounding the educational portion of its 2011 Convention, which will take place March 30 – April 3 in Phoenix, Ariz. Serving as convention chair is Restaurant Equipment World’s Brad Pierce. Mason Greene of Hotel & Restaurant Supply is the assistant convention chair.

U.S. Outlook—Is the Recovery Durable?
In this keynote address Forbes magazine publisher Rich Karlgaard will share his perspective about the economic recovery and whether entrepreneurship and innovation will blossom as a result.
Pick Better and Fewer Partners for Greater Profitability
This panel discussion will look at ways dealers can enhance channel partnerships to improve their business performance. Distribution professor emeritus Mike Workman of Texas A&M University will lead the discussion. Other panelists scheduled to appear include Joe Schmitt, president of Rapids Wholesale Equipment; Stephen Tucker, president of M. Tucker Co.
