Electrolux Professional Reorganizes Management Structure

Electrolux Professional announced the restructuring of its company into a series of distinct groups: Operations, R&D, Commercial, Foodservice Business Unit, and Business Unit Chains. In addition, Chris Sisternas was named the head of Electrolux’s Region Americas.

In his new role, Sisternas, formerly vice president of sales for Electrolux Laundry, will lead sales and operations for foodservice and laundry in the Americas. He will work from Electrolux Professional’s new North American headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.

Mark Whalen will lead Business Unit Chains. This group will serve commercial restaurant chains and major key accounts on a global basis. Other Electrolux Professional business leaders are:

  • Franco Panno, heading up the Operations and R&D Teams.
  • Harri Paivaniemi leads the Commercial Team, which consists of 10 regions. Electrolux divides these regions into three market segments: mature markets where Electrolux has a solid presence, markets where the company hopes to grow more aggressively, and emerging markets.
  • Philippe Zavattiero leads the FoodserviceBusiness Unit.
  • Wolf?Markus Frank heads up the Laundry Business Unit.

The heads of the Electrolux’s five groups report directly to Alberto Zanata, president of Electrolux Professional.
