Multiconcept operator Twin Hospitality Group Inc., parent company of Twin Peaks Restaurants and Smokey Bones, appointed Andy Wiederhorn to serve as chief executive officer.
This follows the termination of CEO Kim Boerema, per a company release. Additionally, Roger Gondek, the chief operating officer of Twin Peaks Restaurants, has assumed the role of president of Twin Peaks Restaurants while continuing in his COO responsibilities.
Wiederhorn has served as chairman of the board for Twin Hospitality Group since August 2025. Gondek has served as chief operating officer of Twin Peaks since 2017 and has approximately 15 years of experience with the brand, including previous operations leadership roles with a large Twin Peaks franchisee.
“We remain focused on driving key business initiatives forward, including streamlining operations and enhancing the guest experience. This leadership restructuring optimizes our resources while minimizing overhead, providing additional value as we work to restructure our debt and strengthen the company for long-term success,” Wiederhorn said.
