Riko's Pizza promoted Carl Bachmann to chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1, 2026. He has most recently served as president and chief operating officer since January of 2025. Bachmann succeeds Riko’s founder and longtime CEO, Rico Imbrogno, who will become the company’s executive chairman.

Before joining Riko's, Bachmann served as CEO of BurgerFi International, overseeing the BurgerFi and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza brands and as president and CEO of Smashburger. Bachmann’s career also includes leadership roles with Bertucci's and Ruby Tuesday, including more than a decade as a franchisee.

“Carl has proven himself to be an extraordinary leader who understands our values and has already made a tremendous impact,” said Imbrogno. “In less than a year, he's strengthened every part of our business — from technology and operations to marketing, menu development, and real estate — while driving meaningful same-store-sales growth across the system.”
