Noyes Becomes Potbelly President

Adam Noyes was promoted to president of Potbelly. He previously served as the sandwich chain’s chief operating officer, has been appointed president of Potbelly, effective immediately. Bob Wright will remain with the company as CEO through the end of the year.

The leadership transition comes on the heels of c-store chain RaceTrac completing its previously announced acquisition of Potbelly.

“With RaceTrac’s resources and expertise, we’re positioned to accelerate growth toward 2,000 plus shops while staying true to our mission of delighting customers with great food and good vibes,” Wright said in a statement announcing the transition.

The acquisition adds another consumer-facing brand to RaceTrac’s portfolio, which includes more than 800 RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores and approximately 1,200 Gulf-branded locations.
