AyrKing, a manufacturer of food preparation equipment for commercial kitchens, named two mechanical engineers: Alex Baker and Rushi Bhakta.

In their new roles, both new hires assume responsibility for designing, developing and testing mechanical components and systems for food preparation equipment.

Baker has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems, maintenance and equipment repair. Prior to his hire, Baker was an engineering intern at AyrKing.

Bhakta’s background includes working in the Additive Manufacturing Institute of Science and Technology lab at the University of Louisville.
