Company veteran Rich Pinnella was named chief executive officer for Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen.
Rich PinnellaHe replaces company founder and longtime CEO Sean Pourteymour, who will become executive chairman and chairman of the board for the fast-growing, fast-casual chain.
Pinnella joined Luna Grill six years ago as its president.
Luna Grill has more than 50 locations spread across Texas and California. The brand’s near-term growth plans include expanding into Arizona. Luna Grill also plans to open a unit in the new Terminal 1 at San Diego International Airport.
