Shannon McKinney returned to Jack in the Box to serve as sr. vice president and chief operating officer for the quick-serve restaurant chain.

Shannon McKinneyHe previously worked at Jack in the Box from March 2019 to August 2021 as vice president of operations and brand performance. McKinney returns to Jack in the Box after having served as regional vice president of operations and vice president of operations, PLK, America at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

His restaurant industry resume includes various operations leadership roles at Taco Bell, serving as senior director of training and field implementation for Outback Steakhouse, vice president of operations at Crispers, Fresh Alternatives, LLC, and as vice president of franchise business management at Bloomin’ Brands.

Ryan Ostrom, Jack in the Box chief customer and digital officer, will continue to lead the broader customer experience and strategy.
