Smoothie King promoted Gavin Felder to president. He joined the company in May of 2024 and most recently served as the chain’s chief financial officer and will continue in that capacity, too.

As President and CFO, Felder will take on a larger role in the day-to-day management of the business while continuing to lead the company's financial strategy, per a company release.

Felder’s restaurant industry experience spans more than two decades. Prior to joining Smoothie King, he spent 16 years at Yum! Brands, where he most recently served as chief strategy officer, overseeing corporate strategy, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and store innovation across Yum's stable of global restaurant brands.

This leadership update comes as Smoothie King opened 13 stores across eight states during its first fiscal quarter of 2025.
