Restaurant industry veteran Jason Cochran will become chief operating officer for sweetgreen, effective May 5, 2025.
Jason CochranIn this role, Cochran will oversee field operations and as well as operations services and innovation for the fast-growing restaurant chain.
Prior to joining sweetgreen, Cochran served as CEO of American West Restaurant Group, a large Pizza Hut franchisee.
Cochran also served as vice president of operations services at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where he led cross-functional efforts in process improvement, menu and equipment innovation, new store development, and field training, per a sweetgreen release. Cochran’s resume also includes 14 years at GameStop, ultimately serving as senior vice president of U.S. stores.
