Salad and Go Hires Former Krispy Kreme CEO

Salad and Go appointed Mike Tattersfield as its new CEO.

Mike Tattersfield HeadshotMike TattersfieldTattersfield, who is now a minority owner of the brand, brings more than 30 years of retail and restaurant industry leadership experience to the drive-thru-only salad concept. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Krispy Kreme for nearly a decade.

Salad and Go operates with a centralized kitchen model, offering made-to-order salads, wraps, juices and breakfast at drive-thru-only locations as small as 750 square feet.

The concept currently operates more than 140 stores across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada. In 2024, the company opened its largest central kitchen facility in Garland, Texas, which can support up to 500 locations within a 12-hour drive.
