SHFM Presents Annual Awards

The Society for Hospitality & Foodservice Management recognized four individuals with the organization’s annual Directors’ Awards and named the recipient of its 2025 Rising Young Professional Award.

Community Service Award: Ellen Wilson and the Aramark Salute Hospitality Team were the recipients of the award that goes to SHFM members that “have gone above and beyond to help support the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry, as well as their local community.”

Spirit Award: Joe Esteves, director of retail for Sodexo, received the award that goes to an “individual who consistently demonstrates the qualities of loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm” for SHFM.

Leadership Award: Raquel Weiss Fusco, vice president, operations & client relations at elite | studio e, received the award that “recognizes an individual whose work on behalf of SHFM and the corporate foodservice and workplace hospitality industry has resulted in the demonstration of outstanding leadership qualities.”

Additionally, the Rising Young Professional Award went to Sherri Silverstein of UBS. The award recognizes “an emerging individual who has been a standout among our newest members, supporting the initiatives of the Society through their active engagement and participation in SHFM committees and activities.”
